Oreo Super Bowl
Oreo, a normally sweet and gentle brand, needed a Super Bowl spot that got people talking. What better way than to fan the flames of the eternal cookie vs. crème debate? The strategy: upgrade the debate to a full blown brawl and ask people to choose their side on Instagram. This was the first time a brand used their Super Bowl ad to drive to an Instagram experience resulting in Oreo's becoming the fastest growing Instagram account in history and the first brand to make the top post on Reddit.
